In our busy lives, potential stress and stressors are everywhere; in the workplace, trying to meet deadlines, a hectic family life or simply making it through the week. Just getting to wherever it is we need to go in the mornings can be an ordeal for some people.
Relaxation is one of the most important keys to maintaining our health and is scientifically proven to stimulate the immune system, lower stress, slow down the heart rate, reduce blood pressure and generally promote well-being on all levels.
I teach some really easy to learn techniques for relaxing - for example breathing exercises that you can do simply and quickly - and through hypnotherapy programme these into your unconscious mind so that you automatically take a deep breath and relax in potentially stressful situations. I also use guided visualisations that promote relaxing imagery and feels of relaxation in appropriate situations, and I can teach you self-hypnosis so that you can manage your own well-being on an ongoing basis.
